Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) was formed based on the friendship and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore. With the support from the Governments of the two countries, a joint venture investment between the domestic and foreign partners by reputable corporations with experience in the fields of infrastructure development and real estate such as Becamex IDC Corporation (Vietnam) and companies led by Sembcorp Development (Singapore) were established to carry out the VSIP project. To date, VSIP has developed a total of 9 projects across the country with a total land fund of more than 8,600 hectares for the purpose of industrial, residential, and services. VSIP is supplying production infrastructure to 840 clients from more than 30 countries and territories, with a total investment of 14 billion USD and creating direct jobs for more than 250,000 domestic and foreign workers. VSIP has also gradually shifted towards developing Industrial – Service – Urban Complexes aimed at creating a sustainable working, living, learning and playing environment. In addition to constant expansion, VSIP also has many community events. Every year, the company organizes a charity event to raise money to support the poor, foster homes, schools, sponsor and provide scholarships to poor studious students in the area. Not only for charitable purposes, the VSIP Charity Days is also an event that attracts thousands of workers who are working in the industrial park to gather and enjoy entertainment. With the success of the implemented projects and the stature of the ongoing and upcoming projects, VSIP is considered one of the leading urban and industrial park developers in Vietnam and a symbol of successful cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore.
