General

Lai Vu Industrial Park, formerly known as Lai Vu Shipbuilding Industrial Park, was approved by the Prime Minister in the General Planning for Development of Industrial Parks in Vietnam in Decision No. August 2006 with a planned area of 212 ha On June 25, 2007, Lai Vu Shipbuilding Industrial Park was officially established under Decision No. 2326/QD-UBND of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee with the first investor being Hai Duong Province. Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (VINASHIN) with the orientation is an industrial park with specialized factories and factories serving the Vietnamese shipbuilding industry. The industrial park has a planned area of 212.89 hectares located in Lai Vu commune, Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province, adjacent to an important traffic route, National Highway 5.
